Travel Insurance – Mandatory for All Guests

At AVT Travel, the safety, comfort, and peace of mind of our guests are always our top priorities.

As our tours may include remote destinations, adventure activities, cruises, trekking, local transportation, and multi-country travel across Southeast Asia, AVT Travel strongly requires all travelers to purchase comprehensive personal Travel Insurance before the start of their trip.

Travel Insurance is compulsory for all guests traveling with AVT Travel, protect yourself for your trip of a lifetime.

Your insurance should ideally cover:

Medical expenses and hospitalization
Emergency evacuation and repatriation
Trip cancellation or interruption
Flight delays or missed connections
Personal accident coverage
Loss or theft of baggage and personal belongings
Natural disasters and unforeseen emergencies

We highly recommend a minimum coverage of USD 200,000 for emergency medical evacuation and repatriation.

Guests may be requested to provide proof of insurance before or upon arrival. Failure to provide valid insurance may affect participation in certain tours or activities.

Local Insurance Provided by AVT

In addition to your personal travel insurance, AVT Travel provides local land tour insurance for guests during the services operated directly by AVT Travel in Vietnam and selected destinations in Southeast Asia.

This local insurance is limited in scope and should not replace your own comprehensive international travel insurance policy.

AVT local insurance may include:

Basic local travel coverage during the tour
Local transportation insurance where applicable
Liability coverage according to local regulations

Coverage limits and conditions are subject to local insurance providers and government regulations.

Important Notice

AVT Travel shall not be held responsible for:

Personal injury, illness, or accidents beyond our reasonable control
Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
Flight delays, cancellations, or airline schedule changes
Natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, pandemics, or force majeure events
Additional costs resulting from personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances

Guests are strongly advised to carefully review their insurance policy to ensure adequate protection for their individual travel needs.
